Why Choose Certified Organic Beef?

Because they are grassfed!

More Omega 3s
"Omega 3 which has been linked to reducing the incidence of mental disorders including depression, aggressive behavior, attention-deficit disorder (ADD), schizophrenia and dementia. The cardiovascular system is equally dependant on Omega 3s. People with diets rich in Omega 3s are less likely to have high blood pressure or irregular heat rhythms. They are half as likely to die from a heart attack or stroke." Joe Robinson: Why Grass-fed is Best

More CLA, Conjugated Linoleic Acid
CLA has shown promise in medical research research tests. "When rats are fed very small amounts of CLA-a mere .1 percent of their total calories-they show a significant reduction in tumor growth." Ibid

Eat Fat: Get Lean
Quoting Jo Robinson's book, "Why Grassfed is Best", "Eating fat makes you fat" is a maxim that most people accept without question. But CLA is no ordinary fat. Amazingly, it helps convert fat to lean muscle - every dieter's dream. The fat burning properties of CLA was first noted in animal studies. In one of these experiments, mice given CLA gained only 30 percent as much fat as a group not given the nutrient.1 We humans may respond in a similar way. In a 3 month study, 20 inactive men and women were given either CLA Supplements (3 grams per day) or placebos. Even though neither group exercised more or ate less, the CLA group loat an average of five pounds and had a significant 15 to 20 percent drop in body fat.2 The placebo group had little or no change in weight or drop in body fat.

More Rural Jobs
Organic farming is not the most economical way to farm. It requires many more hours to do a given job than conventional methods. Although many of the farming methods could be done with a pass of the sprayer, we use old mechanical methods to accomplish the same task. This is also providing more jobs in rural America, something that is sorely missing in the bigger is better modern farming.

Clean and Green
This is not about us. It is about our children and grandchildren. Organic farming preserves the soil and nature. It keeps it in a healthy, earth-friendly condition. Your purchase of these goods is helping us do this.

Sustainable Agriculture
Organic farming avoids petroleum-based fertilizers and chemicals. When man has exhausted the supply of cheap oil, he must still know how to grow food. Therefore, organic farming is preserving those methods and can pass them on to the future generations.
